Everything Seniors Need To Know For A Healthy Smile


Our discussion is informative, educational and will instruct listeners on the many ways they can participate in a healthy dental lifestyle.  The program is held at your facility and can be presented to both residents and caregivers.  Topics will include;

1. Where are we today? A look at demographics and various statistics regarding Senior dental health.

2. The importance of Home Preventive Care. Recent studies have indicated that there is a direct relationship with dental disease to Stroke, Heart Disease, Diabetes and Alzheimer’s. These studies point out the need for preventative dental care and the need to provide instructional materials to care givers.

3.  Medication. Some medications can affect daily dental hygiene. We will discuss the things to be on the lookout for.

4. New possibilities for a healthy smile. There are many new restorative options available in the dental field.  We’ll review some of the best products and options and discuss the importance of up to date alternatives.

5. Questions and Answers.  Our program dedicates time at the end of each session to allow attendees to ask Dr. Hand questions about concerns they may have regarding dental health.
